Heat energy is being produced in a resistance in a circuit at the rate of 100 W. The current of 3 A is flowing in the circuit. What must be the value of the resistance?

 we can list out the given as,

Power P= 100W

current , I = 3A

To find ,  Resistance R = ?

P = I²R

100 = 3² x R = 9 x R

R = 100 / 9 

R = 11.1 ohm = 11.1 Ω
